Caribbean Stud Poker

Developed in the late 1980's aboard Caribbean cruise ships, the game became so popular with players that the game moved to the land based casinos. In this game you are only trying to beat the dealer, not any of the other players. This us against the dealer feeling encourages an element of camaraderie among the players who are pulling together to beat the dealer. Players place an ante bet and receive five cards face down. When instructed by the dealer, players examine their hands and decide to fold (forfeiting the ante) or make a bet that is double the ante.
